Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I am desperate for snow as it is the 17th of December and we have NOTHING. I got up this morning and decided to create snow in my studio. I gave myself 30 mintues to paint without a reference photo or snow to gaze at outside my studio window. Here is the result. Blessings, Sandy
