I took a reference photo of the plaza ouside the Hotel Colon in Spain while there in May of 2013. The nights in Barcelona were magical to me. The street musicians and performers were so entertaining. Classical opera music floating through the air. Cafes open with quiet conversations here and there. This painting takes me right back to those moments. Holbein pigment on 200# Saunders Waterford.
