Artist's Description
I snapped this picture last January while heading out to the farm to get our fresh raw milk from our cowshare. The roads were treacherous as there had been a really bitter cold misty fog overnight, kind of a weird combination but we live close to Lake Michigan so the warm water temeratures combined with the freezing cold air makes for the most beautiful early mornings with mist and frost and snow all at the same time. We had to drive extra slow. Been in a slump lately waiting for the season to officially change from fall to winter..immersing myself in a winter landscape kind of shook off the blues and made me look forward to the beauty of winter that is just around the corner. Holbein pigments, 200# Waterford Saunders CP. Blessings,

Thank you Peggy. It would seem that God is speaking to me through a number of different people right now. I will have to seek His will about this and see if I can find my way through this process....Blessing dear one.

Oh, my. Marsha just introduced me to your work, Sandra. Truly exquisite!!
Sandra Strohschein
Well, Marsha, today I woke up in incredible pain again. I should have known as yesterday the whole area was itching really bad. I had stopped taking L Lysine thinking I was all better.....apparently that has some serious properties that combat this illness....ready to take a nice nap....thanks for the compliment on the painting. It is always fun to write about my paintings. Keith (hsb) says he enjoys the write ups as much as the paintings and would like me to write and illustrate a book...Goodness.....maybe I should think about it. Thanks again for the kind words and asking about my health. You are a dear.

A lovely peaceful scene you've painted here....love the warm colors & composition. Great write-up, too. I always love to read your descritions as they say so much. How's the "shingle" situation?
