Alanson Michigan, a town most people would forget, unless you lived there. A drive through town on the way to somewhere else. But how fond we are, those of us who know it. The bakery, the hardware, the local restaurant, the drawbridge. The beat up old boat houses that line the Crooked River. The boardwalk that sometimes finds itself underwater certain times of the year. Yes, a drive through for some....but a drive home for others.
