Description
I set out to paint en plein air after a very very long winter. This was done on March 18th after driving around for an hour or so looking for inspiration. Nothing appealed to me at all until I saw this beautiful blue reflection in a plain old farm field. I stopped, painted and came home refreshed and satisfied that I had spent a nice day in the fresh air painting. March 18th, 2014. Holbein pigments on 140# Fabriano. Temperature 40 degrees. Afternoon study. Available.
