Adorable Sandy!!! I just love it. You did such a lovely job in watercolor. I always invisioned this one in pastel. I love the zap of color in your focal point. The values are lovely and you did a great job with snowflakes. This image really does evoke the emotion and spirit of Christmas time. I hope your printer makes lots of prints. This one will sell many times over between now and Christmas. Homerun!! :-)

Artist's Description

This is my second annual, "Bringing In the Tree" painting. Last year's was dedicated to my Dad and I did not put it into print. This year's painting will be going into print. The reference photo is used with permission from the photographer and fellow artist Lisa Pope. The subjects are Heath and Ian Pope, currently living in Guam. I bet they will miss the snow this year. Thank you Lisa for your reference photo. Bringing in the tree is the most exciting part about Christmas to me and a cherished memory of time spent with my Dad as a girl living at home with my parents. With love to Dad. Price reflects painting with mat. (original)
