This painting was done En Plein Air in the rain in Fivizzano, Italy during a busy morning at the market. I was enchanted with the red building, the flowers, the umbrellas and the quiet peacefulness Three times in the process rain began to fall on my painting but I just painted on adjusting my pigment to water ratio as need be. This painting was rendered with Holbein pigments on 140# Fabriano paper. SOLD.
