I saw this Pelican while eating a nice hot bowl of clam chowder at Woody's in Newport Beach California. I had been painting En Plein air and was quite chilled. I saw this fellow from inside the nice warm restaurant. The weather in reality was cold and gloomy but in my painting I turned on the sunlight :) Holbein pigments on arches 140# CP. Available.
