I have always loved Mackinac Island but no season enchants me more than when the Lilacs are in bloom. The island is covered with Lilacs some that have endured the harsh winters and lasted over 200 years. I paint an Island scene each year for the coming tourist season in Northern Michigan. This will be my fourth official annual Mackinac Island Painting. Thank you for your interest in my art. This was rendered on Waterford Saunders 200# CP, Holbein Pigments.
